CAST Program

The CAST programme at TBS stands as one of the school’s defining features, capturing our belief that education extends far beyond the classroom. Spanning Years 7 to 12, the programme develops students in four critical dimensions: Creativity, Activity, Service, and Teamwork. Each element is purposefully designed to nurture well-rounded individuals who combine intellectual ability with social responsibility and personal growth.

Through Creativity, students explore innovation in the arts, sciences, and everyday problem-solving. Activity encourages healthy living, participation in sports, and perseverance through challenge. Service instills empathy, leadership, and commitment to community improvement, while Teamwork fosters collaboration, communication, and respect for others’ perspectives.

The CAST journey evolves with the student. In earlier years, weekly sessions allowed them to experiment with diverse experiences, from artistic workshops and robotics to volunteering initiatives. As they reach Years 11 and 12, students take ownership of their learning through the Senior CAST Project, a culminating portfolio that reflects long-term commitment to a cause, creative pursuit, or collaborative challenge.

This structured progression ensures that every graduate leaves TBS with a tangible record of achievement that demonstrates resilience, initiative, and social awareness.
