At The British School Al Rehab, we continuously monitor and study outstanding education systems and schools throughout the world in order to learn from new directions and ideas. It is clear to us that education is necessarily transforming to better prepare young people for a changing world. With the increasing availability and use of technology and the introduction of the likes of artificial intelligence in our world, students need to do more than merely memorise knowledge and facts if they are to be successful in the future. To that end, we are leading the way in providing an effective and relevant education for the young people of Egypt.

The Department for Education in the United Kingdom has put in place a programme for the inspection of British schools overseas, whereby schools are inspected against a common set of standards. The inspection of TBS was completed by Penta International, approved by the British government to conduct inspections for British schools overseas.

The inspection report states: “The British School Al Rehab (TBS) is a good school with some outstanding features. The partnership with parents is outstanding and the students, parents and staff are highly committed to the school.”

The Council of International Schools (CIS) Being a CIS accredited school (Council of International Schools) allows us at GEMS TBS to focus on student learning and global citizenship. CIS International Accreditation is accepted by other countries and associations internationally as a mark of quality assurance, shining a light on accredited institutions’ commitment to crafting an unrivalled learning journey for their students. Every lesson, every activity, and every challenge are designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to make a lasting impact.
