“Brain Body’s!”
For the first half of the 1st term as part of our new IPC Curriculum we had a look at our brain and the
different parts. This showed us how our bodies functioned in different ways.
In art we showed this by drawing the neurons which are electrical
impulses and we even made a human brain from pictures using salt dough. They looked like the real thing!
Our next IPC topic is “ Fit for life". We are going to be looking at how we should look after our body through diet and how this is related to our normal everyday work and sport. I wonder how many foods we actually eat and drink are good for us! This will be linked to our
Science topic “Keeping Healthy”. We will find out how fit we are with some scientific testing of our heart!
