The new school day will run from 07.40 until 14.45 and will consist of eight 45 minute periods thereby giving an increase in contact time of 10 minutes per day and also reducing the amount of time wasted in transition between lessons.
Welcome to the Secondary school section of The British School, Al Rehab.
We are now over 16 years old and still looking to improve the life and career chances of our students. Bearing this in mind we have taken a decision to condense our key stage 3 (KS3) into years 7 and 8. This will allow TBS students to sit the standard 8 IGCSE exams at the end of year 10 and start a 2 year A-level course (AS and A2) in year 11 and complete in year 12.This move will allow TBS students to remain competitive here in Egypt but also compete for positions at universities worldwide and set them up for successful careers, wherever our students might choose to work.
We have created links with University providers, allowing TBS students exclusive deals if they choose to study abroad. We currently are able to offer pathways to Universities in countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA. We are working on developing relationships with providers in order to access European universities in the likes of Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland.
Exciting news on the horizon is the development of a new purpose built secondary school, still within Al Rehab, allowing both the Primary and Secondary sections of TBS to grow.
